Grants of up to $50,000 to USA, Canada, and International graduate students and postdoctoral investigators for research projects addressing psoriasis. Funding is intended to enable applicants to eventually compete for larger grants and to position themselves to establish successful long-term careers conducting psoriatic disease research. The goal of this award is to support scientists at this challenging early career stage and to welcome them into the collaborative community of scientists, clinicians, and patients involved with NPF research, with particular interest in fostering an increased representation of underrepresented individuals within the research community.
Applications related to all aspects of psoriatic disease are strongly encouraged, including basic science, translational research, technology, epidemiology, health services, and clinical research. Prospective applicants are encouraged to review recent publications and reports identifying research gaps and priorities in psoriatic disease research.
Reviewers will be asked to base their evaluations on the following criteria:
